In-Gear Motorcycle Training

Here at In-Gear, we provide a fantastic service, fantastic training and fantastic safety for all our riders. We provide the safest learning environment for riders in the region bar none, and dare we say, we are North Somerset's leading motorcycle rider training school.

We have 3 motorcycle training centres in Bristol and North Somerset and have been established since 1998. Our Bristol site is 5 minutes drive from the Clifton Suspension Bridge next to Ashton Court and we have other sites at Nailsea and at Portishead. We're close to the motorcycle test centres at Bristol, Gloucester and Taunton.

Paul Dickinson holds a BTEC teaching award for rider training from standard to advanced levels; he is a fully qualified CBT and Direct Access trainer, a fully qualified car instructor, and has quite a few other biking qualifications to boot. In addition to the existing courses that riders can participate in, Paul has developed two courses of significance. They both come under the banner of In-Gear Motorcycle Experience Days, one of which is aimed at very new riders called Get Biking!. The other course is called Get Cornering! and is for riders with a full motorcycle licence.

This is an optional and exclusive 3 hour starter courseWe have the experience and dedication to ensure that your learning experience with us is safe, enjoyable and structured in such a way to give you life-long skills.

Learning to ride with In-Gear enables you to enjoy riding your scooter or motorbike with real safety, skill and confidence.

Get Cornering!

A great day out zipping and nipping around the beautiful landscape of the Mendips, the Forest of Dean or Mid-Wales.

Corner with real confidence and in radio contact with your instructor. Read those bends in a whole new way. Operating in a team of up to four riders, share and learn tips, tricks and techniques to get the best out of you and your bike.

Guaranteed Pass Scheme

This year we have a great new package for all our customers. Our new Guaranteed Pass Scheme is launched to provide an unrivalled peace of mind and quality of service. We hear many stories of riders that bought a cheap course and ended up taking their tests a few times and spent at least 3 times as much as the original quote to pass their tests.

How does our Guaranteed Pass Scheme work?

Our Guaranteed Pass Scheme has a set amount of time during which you receive thorough training for a fixed price. If you fail any of your tests, no matter how often, we will provide all the training you need to make sure you pass at no extra cost, not a single penny for any further tuition. All with flexible hours for your training to suit how you learn. The only contributions you will make are the additional test fees. We really do want you to be safe.
